Revelations today

 There were quite a few prophetic posts I've been mediating on recently. I am writing this to process all that is happening. Romans 12:1-10 spoke especially to me today. 

First was that I needed to have God heal the self-divisive spirit in my heart that led to self-hate, self-"all sorts of negative condemning words". I had a problem with guilt and condemnation, not wanting to be appreciated or be honored because I felt so unworthy.

Once I gave those up, and accepted self-unity, self-love from God, I gave over my will and taking His Wil. I let His Will to completely submerge mine. We have to completely let our will be totally enclosed by His like dunking ourselves in the ocean of the Holy Spirit's will.

Once we honor ourselves the same way God honors us, we can then honor others moe than ourselves which is a crazy amount of honor.

We have to completely give over our will to God for His Will to take the place of our will. Once we do that, we will have increased freedom to serve God without letting our fleshly wills getting in the way.

A Year of Reading the Bible

 Tonight is the eve of my anniversary in the personal decision to start reading the Bible. What a year it has been! God has been so, so good to me.  A year ago today, I recognized the despondent feelings I was having was spiritual. I grappled with what I was doing with my life, a mid-life crisis so to speak, if you consider that I am roughly halfway through the average expectancy lifespan. I was focused on writing books so I could build a better life for my tiny family someday when I have to be independent again. After my girls' father died unexpectedly, we went to live with my mom and her husband several states away. They opened their home to us, and they have been nothing but blessing to the three of us. They provided a stable home.   It’s okay to make mistakes. Recognize it, own it, and decide to not make the same mistake again.   I hope to encourage you with this verse using three different translations to bring it to light. James 3:2…   CSB: For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body.   ERV: We all make many mistakes. A person who never said anything wrong would be perfect. Someone like that would be able to control their whole body.   TPT: We all fail in many areas, but especially with our words.
