Posting Godly COntent

Dear God's People, Are you Creating Godly Content?

After waiting on the Lord in prayer and worship for a time, the thought of social media came to mind and how important it is that God's Word and the testimonies of His People is to be spread first through letters like Paul's letters and travelled all the way to the online platforms.
It is a drawn image of Apostle Paul writing a letter to Timothy in jail in his last days..

The reason I believe Jesus is coming at such times like this is because of the tools of communication we now have is just about everywhere. If there's people without access to the information, there are others with access who will spread the news to them.

Jesus first came to earth because the communication and recording of His word was just at the right time for the OT prophecies to be fulfilled and recorded. The highways were established so movements could be traveled more quickly, especially the Roman armies. This also made mail possible. People of the day now had papyrus to write on and be transported safely. Before this time, transporting tablets were not easy and prone to breaking.

It's funny when we consider the tablets that we now use are the new tools of our day. Social media is now a huge part of this generation, and there are many incoming college students who grew up with social media as a part of their lives. They have not known a time without social media.

People of the church should not deem the tool imperfect to share God's Word or be afraid  to use this tool to speak verses and share their testimonies for the world to see. The authors of the contents (written, photos, videos, audio) do need covering, and to be watchful but wise. Set time limits. Delete any divisive comments posted on their content. Authors can share what bothered them in the comments with their friends in private. There's also filtering options on some platforms to stop the comments from posting such as TikTok.

Interact with other fellow believers and be discerning of what others are saying, and unfollow anyone who isn't speaking the truth, and do not post divisive content or comments. Don't engage them—leave them alone (unfollow, mute notification or delete comments, and if it's bad, block).

Use these tools and step out there. It is a decision just as we decide to share our testimony, and we continually decide to read the Bible every day. So too we decide to do create such content.

You can start with sharing your favorite passages or verses you have memorized. Your testimony will naturally expand from there when you get comfortable, and you get responses/engagement. And even prophesy to encourage people in their journey to/with Jesus. The world is in desperate need of God's word, and we should not be closing ourselves off from sharing the word with just those we see in person. We have these new tools, and we should use them. God and the angels will help get the content we create and share to reach the people who need to see it. The Word will be sown in them, and they will reach out to someone local to them to minister to them more ably.

People of almost all ages are using social media, and there are so many hurting people who need that word of encouragement to reach out to someone in their communities, and God wants to use His People to sow those seeds. The families and friends will witness the testominies shared through the content as well and they can reach out to the authors to learn more.

And especially when the Church is caught up with Jesus and their accounts are suddenly silent, the people left behind will be using Christian hashtags that will help them find the truth; they won't be just googling Bible verses and looking up books to read, but social media too. Such as #God #Jesus #Christian and so on. Hashtags are important.

There are also people now who profess to be Christians but have not truly given themselves to Jesus; they need to hear the Word while they are scrolling through Social Media. They need to hear the Word, to truly know Jesus, and whatever else the Lord leads them and the Holy SPirit will convict them.

My hope is that if this message is true that you will step out and start posting Godly content that gives encouragement, testimony, and truth. Start creating and posting them. You don't need anything fancy, and you don't need to show your face but the nature God created.

If you have questions, there are many resources online to guide you.

Afterword

I wrote this message as inspired by God. I feel frustrated when there's Christians online who never post any Godly content. Where are their testimonies, their favorite verses, their word of encouragement? Perhaps I'm just not seeing all they post. We are to be the light, and if the only time anyone sees their light is in person, then it seems to me that the Christians are severely limiting their light online and not using all the tools they have at their disposal.

Maybe they already considered using social media and decided it should only be limited to sharing few nice pictures and personal news, and for others social media is too distracting and addicting to be used, and for others, don't want to see impure content. I genuinely hope it brings either confirmation or encouragement to consider posting Godly content. Like with everything, start small, post one verse like I did.
If the message is true to you, feel free to share this to whomever you think will encourage and confirm. Be blessed.
